One-of-a-kind paintings exploring colour, atmosphere, and a sense of place.
My original paintings begin with observation — of light, colour, and the quiet pull that places and moments can hold. I’m less interested in recording a subject exactly as it appears than in capturing how it felt: the mood, the rhythm, the feeling that remains tugging at your heart strings.
The work draws on lived experience — coastlines, country roads, treasured gardens, and still moments — all shaped by South Africa’s vivid light and shifting colour. These paintings are not literal depictions, but impressions, leaving space for personal association and recognition.
About the work
The works shown here are a curated selection of available originals. This selection changes over time — shaped by season, recent work, and the conversations the paintings begin to form with one another.
Other works may be held privately or with galleries. If something here resonates — or if you’d like to enquire about works not currently shown — I'd love to hear from you.
Small Works
Smaller original paintings — more intimate in scale, yet equally considered. These works are well suited to smaller spaces, gifting, or quiet corners of a home.
